‘Death of a Screen pt.001’is a virtual  exploration of the parallels between the human body and computer systems. This project explores the intricate connections and vulnerabilities inherent in both,        how catastrophic events—such as death, war, slaughter, and disasters—can be perceived as errors within the complex systems of the body and its simulated surroundings.

The color blue, symbolizing both the technological and biological aspects of our existence. The infamous "Blue Screen of Death" (BSOD) in computer systems serves as a critical reference point. This error screen, indicating a system crash, is blue because it is the easiest color for the human eye to perceive, reducing strain during distressing moments. This technological choice mirrors the profound significance of blue in human perception and emotional response.

This work draws influence from Derek Jarman's seminal work "Blue," a film that uses a monochrome blue screen to explore themes of illness, loss, and the ephemeral nature of life. Jarman's use of blue underscores the emotional and symbolic weight of the color, providing a poignant reference for our thematic exploration.
